Mr Jayantha Ratnayake is the son of the first Principal of our village school. Jayantha Ayya attended the local school at HinguruKaduwa up to grade 5. He visits our village every-time he travels to Sri Lanka. He was here some months back and he dropped in at our institute. On his return to Australia he contacted us via email to notify us that he wanted to help us by providing funds for a computer. With the money he offered along with some other contributions we bought two used laptops. We got them through an auction on the Internet. On behalf of the children of the village we express our gratitude to Jayantha Ayya for his role in getting us our first laptop. We have installed the lessons for GCE (O/L) Examination on one computer. We have started lending it to the students sitting for the exam this year.
